True web site collaboration! ™

What is Zezame?

Zezame is a web site collaboration system which allows you to capture web pages, share them with users in a project and annotate the pages with notes. We like to think of the notes as "yellow stickies on steroids".

Captured pages are stored by Zezame until you delete them. So if they disappear from the web site where you captured them, they are still available in Zezame. Zezame stores the captured web pages just as you saw them, with banner advertising and all. The Zezame notes do not interfere with the page and sit on a separate "transparent layer" on top of the web page.

Here follows a quick overview what you can do with Zezame.

Create web site collaboration projects
It couldn't be easier to create your own Zezame web site project. First, create a new project and give it a name. Then, select who should be part of the project from a list of users in the system. You're done! You and other project participants can now start capturing web pages to share, put notes on and discuss.

Create structure for your projects
For real efficiency it is vital to organize your project information so it is easy to find and access. You simply create a folder structure in the Zezame project pane to hold the sites and pages you are working on. You can create structures as you see fit and they are not dictated by the directory structure of the web site you are working on.

Share web pages
Sharing web pages with your project is as easy as web surfing. You go to the page you need to capture, you hit the Save button and select the folder in your project where the page should be kept. Immediately all the users in the project can start collaborating on that page. Dynamic or personalized web pages are saved exactly as you saw them, making it easy to share the errors or personalized item as you saw it.

Put notes on and discuss web pages
The real power in Zezame comes when you start to put notes on the actual web pages. The notes are like "yellow sticky" notes on top of the web page where you can make your comment and easily discuss your thoughts with your colleagues in context. Alternatively the notes can be private notes to remind you of an issue. The notes do not interfere with the layout of the page, and they do not require that you download any extra software to see them.

Classify your notes
Each note can be classified with a number of different flags, for example: type of note, priority, status, deadline and owner of issue. Zezame shows changes to note flags, who made changes and when. Note flags changes the color and look of the note to make it easy to identify what type of issue a particular note highlights.

Administrate easily
The system has delegated system administration which allows "User Administrators" to create new users and assign users to individual projects. Each user can start new projects and invite anyone who is already a Zezame system user to participate in the project. Users can manage their own settings, such as passwords, email address, user interface language and notifications.
