What
languages will the Zezame products support?
The Zezame system currently supports both English and Swedish.
We plan to add further language support in the future. If you have
any preferences for language support, please contact
us.
When
will I be able to use the Zezame system from my Macintosh computer?
We expect to support Macintosh computers running Netscape and/or Mozilla with
a later release of Zezame. Contact technical
support if you have further questions about Macintosh support.
Can
I choose to have different icons displayed for notes
of different types?
The icon set for notes is fixed at the moment. There are plans to allow
the user to choose among different icons for different types of notes
in the future. Different types of notes (Content, Function etc. currently get
different colors.)
Why
don't Zezame products use plug-in technology?
Plug-ins are not well liked by system administrators and IT
departments who have to instruct users on how to install and maintain
them on their individual computers. The Zezame system allows users
to capture web pages, put notes on and discuss them without
having to install another plug-in on their browser.
Is
it possible to have copies of frequently used notes,
for example notes I want to use multiple times when proofreading
large documents?
We are working on this one. In a future release it will be possible to have
a library of notes that are ready to be inserted where needed.
Can
I use HTML in an annotation to show a picture or change color
of the text?
No, at this time you cannot use HTML to alter the appearance of an annotation.
This is mainly for security reasons. You can insert hyperlinks (URLs) in a
note. Line breaks are also maintained in a note. In a future release you may
be able to attach files or pictures to a note as well
as format
the
text.
Why
is Swedish one of the language options for the Zezame interface?
Well, the founders of Zezame are Swedish, and they wanted to develop a product
that can be used by people around the world. So, the first two languages that
were supported by the product were English and Swedish. Now when we have a
solid system for adding languages it is rather trivial to add another user
interface language. Contact us if you have the need for Zezame in another language.
Is
it hard to add support for another language to the Zezame product
interface?
No. Support for other languages can be added rather easily to the Zezame product
interface. See the previous question.
